1. This version of Microsoft Windows has a remnant from its development that reads "This information is preliminary. It may be incomplete and is subject to change." at the very bottom of the CLICONF.HLP file in "\WINDOWS\SYSTEM".
2. This Microsoft Windows version's MS-DOS version is used by Rufus and Windows' MS-DOS disk creation process. Windows, however, can only create an MS-DOS disk if the disk being formatted is a floppy disk, and the floppy disk won't be bootable on some computers, even with CSM enabled in the BIOS.
3. Some system files such as OSK.EXE have "Microsoft(R) Windows (R) 2000 Operating System" in the ProductName value in the Version Info resource. This can be seen by right-clicking the system file, clicking Properties and clicking Details in the Properties window.
